8 Low Or No Cost Projects
I thought it would be fun to post some of my favorite no cost projects. Sometimes you just want to do something creative, but want to use what you have and spend little or no money, especially at the beginning of a new year.
First up is the Painted Primitive Stool Mr. DIY made me with some leftover wood from another project. We already had the the paint, as well. You can see how we made it HERE.
I still love Mason Jars. I use them to store food, supplies and theyre great to put candles in for any occasion. Heres one I made with recycled supplies I keep in my craft room. You can find out more HERE.
Ive had these metal urns forever. I bought some foam 1/2 circles and harvested some green moss from our backyard. They moss eventually turned a beautiful bronze color. You can find out how I made put together the moss on the urns HERE.
We brought home a piece of reclaimed wood from our Mountain Cottage and bought some inexpensive hooks at Lowes to make this Reclaimed Wood Coat Rack. If you dont have a piece of reclaimed wood, you can always age a new piece of wood you might already have. You can find this project HERE:
Heres another one of my favorite no cost projects. I used repainted a tall flower bucket I already had with leftover paint and printed a free graphic on wax paper. Its one of my most pinned projects on Pinterest. You can find the Wax Paper Transfer post HERE.
Anyone can do this no cost project. Anyone... Its just a leftover piece of wood, painted and distressed, with a word written with a Sharpie marker. So simple! No link needed for this one!
Heres another project printed with my computer and laserjet printer. The graphic was put on a piece of drop cloth and sewed a into a pillow. Of course, the drop cloth was leftover from another project. You can the Paris Market Pillow HERE.
I saved my favorite no cost sewing project for last. You could do this as a no sew project, as well, with a little fusing tape. These little Vintage Valentine Hearts are special to me because theyre made with some fabric leftover from a dress my grandmother made me when I was a little girl. The moral of the story is, look around your house and see what supplies you have to make something fun!
