So, back to the house. Weve spent the winter and first days of spring finalizing our plans (theyre not yet final, but Ill get to that in future posts) and picking out all the features. Here you can see the shaker-style kitchen cupboard door design we like and the u-shaped kitchen we will use. Were still waiting on quotes from vendors... I feel like all we do is wait sometimes. Contractors are just too busy to care. 
And then there are those who are just bad at managing customers. Thats not to say we havent encountered some fabulous contractors and sales people...its about 50-50. Finding the *right* one for us seems to be the key.
