1) Monument to Orange is considered as one of the most unusual and funny monuments in Odessa, built for 210th anniversary of Odessa. The background story tells us that Paul I didn’t allow construction of theharbour in Odessa, so city’s residents sent him many carts with oranges (his favorite fruits). Impressed with such unusual gift Paul I allocated money.
2) Shahs Palace built in 1852 against order of Polish noble Zenon Bzhozovsky. In 1909-1917, this architectural creature belonged to Mohamed Ali, Persian shah who run away from Iran to Ukraine. The architecture of the building combines English Gothic, French Medieval styles and shines with beautiful windows and majestic towers.
3) House with Atlants on Gogolya Street is historical and memorable place of Odessa. The house neighboring on the left side,owned by baron Falz-Feins family in the past, represents amazing architectural ensemble,.
4) Gogol’s House located on the same street is the next pride of Odessa. This house is famous because of Nikolai Gogol, the writer and novelist born in Ukraine and earned fame in Russia. He has lived here in 1851 during 5 months.
5) Mother in Law Bridge is situated close to the harbour. It was built in 1968 and got its name thanks the former head of Odessa M.Sinitza,who came for a visit to his mother-in-law. Nowaday bridge has many locks hung up by couples in love and symbolizing endless love.
6) The Colonnade near to Mother-in-law Bridge with a nice view from the top. The Colonnade was originally part of the Governors M.Vorontsov residence. It was built in 1826 - 1828 and located on beautiful Lookout toward Odessa Port.
7) Vorontsovs Palace The Palace is 200 y.o. and based at the end of pedestrian walkway on Primorsky Boulevard. The palace was built in 1827 - 1830 by architect Francesco Boffo for one of the governor-generals Prince Mikhail Vorontsov. Vorontsov decided to build his city residence on the spot of ex-former governor general Richelieus home-place. The view of current palace has only one front part left of the original structure.
8) Flat House also called Devil’s House or One Wall House - the most unick building in Odessa. You will be surprised to see people living behind one wall. Due to lack of investments the only one side (wall) was risen up and this unick architectural miracle come into sight.
